Simplified Event-Based Load Shedding Scheme for Frequency Stability in an Isolated Power System With High Renewable Penetration. El Hierro: A Case Study

چکیده

This study presents a novel approach to calculate the load be shed in El Hierro isolated power system generation tripping events. The proposed shedding law is based on linear regression model. model obtained by means of offline dynamic simulations set representative test cases. has been compared under-frequency scheme currently utilized Hierro, considering three different implementation schemes. results this demonstrate that can contribute reduce average amount events and meet requirements system’s frequency with moderate investment smart management devices.
